CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Unlike traditional leathers that are conditioned, crackle leather requires unique care to preserve the surface effect: • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or excessive rubbing on the cracked surface. • Conditioning: Avoid traditional leather conditioners, as these can seep into the cracks and soften the top coat, diminishing the desired texture and visual contrast. If necessary, a light, non-greasy sealant may be recommended by the tannery. • Storage: Store away from extreme heat, which can cause the top coat to become overly brittle or sticky.
